3 today

my sweet hannah,

today you turn 3. i just can't believe it! you have grown up so fast! you are the absolute joy of my life! your daddy and i love you so much!

so much has happened in the last year!

about 2 weeks after your second birthday, you decided you were DONE with diapers, and that was that. i can't even take any credit for potty-training you...you just did it on your own! thank you for that :)

about that same time, you also moved from your crib to your toddler bed! you thought that was fantastic! you loved that you were able to get up and down by yourself, and even though i worried it would be a problem keeping you in bed, you proved me wrong! you are such a good girl, and thankfully like your sleep, so we had no problems at all!

we got you "your" dog, and even though you torture him like crazy, he still worships you and follows you everywhere!

there are days i watch you and listen to you and think there is a 12 year old trapped in your body.

you are funny and smart, and sometimes i think you act older than you are.

but, there are also the days that you only want me and need me and you remind me you are still my baby girl.

you are imaginative and creative, silly and playful.

there is never a dull moment with you, and i love that.
you definitely keep me on my toes, and you like to go, go, go!

i thank God every day for trusting me to be your mommy. there is no greater thing in life!
