too fast

it's no secret i am hopelessly in love with this little girl:

she is the joy of my life, and this week i have been a little sad because this month she turns 3! i just can't believe that my baby girl will be 3! it's gone too fast! i feel like just yesterday we brought her home...

thankfully, she is just as sweet as she was when she was a baby, if not sweeter. and occasionally, she still lets me hold her while she's sleeping...

that is a rare occasion. the hugs and kisses are always plentiful, but when it's time for bed, it's time for bed. she is like me, she likes her bed, and she likes to sleep without anyone touching her.

i know i am rambling today, but while it makes me happy to be planning her 3rd birthday party, i can't help but feel a little sad at the same time. she is definitely my girl, and i am soaking up every moment!
