potd 020512 "10 am"

nothing creative coming from me lately, and the topic "10 am" is no exception. at 10 am this morning, here is what we were doing...

we spent the weekend with family in texas, and we were loading up to go home. it's always good to go see everyone, but it's always nice to go home too!

i totally chickened out on today's topic. it was to take a picture of a stranger, and i just couldn't do it! we even rode the train in the dallas area, so i had the perfect opportunity, but there was just something so uncomfortable to me to actually do it! so..no pic today!

potd 020212 "words"

today's subject is "words", and since i lack all creativity today, i will post my latest obsession...

i am on book 3 of the Hunger Games trilogy. it's all i have focused on for the last 2 weeks! if i could keep my preggo eyes open longer at night i would have finished a week ago! so, when i had to think of "words", these are the words that came to mind!

and just a side note... i LOVE my kindle fire! :)

potd 020112 "your view today"

i am sure there are several ways to interpret all of the "subjects" for this picture of the day project. today's subject is "your view today", so here is one of my favorite views a lot of days lately...

i did take this picture this morning, but this is a regular occurence lately. hannah and cody like to talk to reed and try and wake him up and make him move. i love it! they tell him over and over who they are and how much they love him and give lots of kisses! makes my heart happy!

an attempted project...

so, i have decided to attempt one of those "picture a day" projects for the month of february...

i am by no means a photographer, or anywhere close to one, but i thought it would give me something to blog about! we'll see how it goes...i am not promising anything! it will start tomorrow, and i am sure it will be harder for me to keep up on the weekends than during the week, when i am not at my computer all day!

a little update on the growing thompson's...we are doing great! hannah is LOVING school and we could not be happier with the decision to put her in school! she is learning so much and just really enjoys going and being with a class full of kids her own age!

 

i am doing really well, just growing and getting bigger! i am almost 28 weeks now, and it almost doesn't seem possible! i feel pretty good most of the time, and even bought a recumbent bike that i ride almost every night and love it! reed is moving like crazy right now and getting so strong! i am so ready for april to get here so i can meet my baby boy! hannah is beyond excited and talks to him all the time! one of her favorite things right now is to lay her head on my belly and feel reed kick her head! she's so silly, but i love every minute of it!

cody is just busy as usual, and is getting ready to work on reed's room. unfortunately, there's not much i can do to help yet, because it is the room all my workout equipment is in, and obviously i can't move that stuff! we have a theme for the room picked out, but we aren't even sure of the bed situation yet! we have GOT to get moving...reed will be here before we know it!

sorry for the really boring post, but i really am going to try and get better! and i WANT to be better once reed gets here for sure! i know i will have lots of funny hannah/reed stories and pictures!
