i have said this a million times...hannah has quite the personality. i have no idea where she gets it, either!
this may be my new favorite picture of her, because this is totally who she is...silly and funny all the time!
we have just been hanging out a lot lately. she loves being with mommy and daddy.
i have been doing my nails more lately, and some of them have had designs on the tips. well, of course hannah decided she needed "fancy" nails, too, so we went and bought her tiny little nail stickers to put on her green-and-pink painted nails. but instead of just doing a couple of stickers, she thought she needed one on every nail! unfortunately i didn't think to take a picture, but it really was cute on her!
that same night, she decided she wanted to paint daddy's toe nails. she obviously has no understanding of why boys don't really do that, so daddy, being the good sport he is, let her!
she took the task very seriously...
the finished product...
and, even though cody probably doesn't want this known, it's been almost a week, and his nails still look like this:)
we are trying to make hannah understand that everything costs money. she thinks that every time we go to the store, she needs a new toy, a cookie at the mall, candy, or some sort of "treat". so, we have started pulling out small amounts of money from her piggy bank and carrying that with us and making her pay for stuff, and if she doesn't have enough, she just doesn't get to buy it.
this was her first big girl purchase:
and even though it doesn't look like it in this picture, she was so excited when we got home and she realized she already had the matching shoes!! she loves her new aerial dress!
for a couple of weeks, we were going through a harder phase than we had been with hannah so far. the tantrums and the hitting and kicking were making me crazy, but for now, it was short-lived:) we are still dealing with the normal 3 year old stuff, but this is part of why she acts so spoiled:
the other night she was cold and couldn't seem to get warm, so cody set her up her own little chair and ottoman, and then covered her with her blanket! she is quite the little princess!
hannah is FINALLY letting me do more with her hair lately. we have gone so long where she wouldn't let me touch it, and she has all that beautiful hair that i have been dying to play with! we have been doing a lot of french braids lately, so the other night after her bath, she let me do it wet so she could sleep with it braided. she got mad at me the next morning when i went to take the braid out, because she wanted to wear the braid, until i got it out and told her to go look in the mirror. it looked like this:
she LOVED it and asked if we could braid it every night!! she looked like a mini teenager with her hair all fixed! sooo cute!
i hope everyone is having a wonderful day! we have gymnastics tonight, which always makes for a busy night!

AHHH!!! I love her curly hair. How adorable is she.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Cody looooooved you posting this. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Hannah. She might be my most favorite kid besides mine. Which means that if you ever need a babysitter, I'm game.
