that is one of hannah's favorite sayings these days...what in the heck?? and it's so cute when she says it, and it always is said when something is out of the ordinary. well, it was exactly my thought the other morning when she came walking into my bathroom looking like this...
she was in her jammies still, had put on her robe, a tutu, and sunglasses. quite the ensemble. and of course, she asked me to take her picture! and then she had to pose...
i know she is adorable and all, but what in the heck was that?? she is hysterical (which is also one of her new favorite words)!
i know i have said this before, but hannah is just genuinely funny. she is witty and quick. she makes me laugh a thousand times per day, and i love that. i have no idea where she got her funniness from, though. but thank God for her sense of humor. even on my worst days, she knows how to make it better.
she is very into playing with her babies right now, and her stuffed animal "friends". the other morning i walked in after being gone a couple of hours and this is what i found:
hannah had gotten every baby and stuffed animal out of the toy box and laid them all on the floor. then, she had to have a blanket for each one to cover up with. she informed me it was naptime like at day care, and all of the kids were asleep! she had even "blocked off" their area so that i wouldn't go in and bother them! :)
she is just such a joy to have around, and i love watching her imagination grow!
ok, i have to share a story. tuesday night our dryer broke...just quit. cody told me and of course i thought "well, crap. like we need that right now". then i kind of put it in the back of my mind because it was 930 at night and nothing was getting done about it right then anyway. then, yesterday morning i was doing my quiet time, and i always write my prayers in a journal. i decided to pray/write about the broken dryer, just asking God to somehow provide an answer, whether it meant an easy fix or a whole new dryer, i didn't know yet. i know it seems like such a silly thing to pray about, but i am learning to trust in Him for everything, not just big or "important" requests, but the small stuff too. yesterday afternoon i started doing some pricing online for new dryers, and decided to quit and not do that until i was sure we would even have to go that route. then, last night cody started to take the dryer apart to try and fix it and decided that he was going to check the breaker again, even though he already did, and that was NOT the problem. well, when he went to check it, it WAS definitely the problem! he kept telling me he swears that was the first thing he checked and that was not the problem. i just smiled and said "Jesus fixed it!". :) God is so good! i am not going to question what happened, i am just trusting that God provided for us and always will!
i know to some of you that may seem silly, but i do not believe in coincidences, and this is the verse that was in my inbox this morning:
"Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you will have it."
Mark 11:24
Mark 11:24
i DO believe, and i will not believe this was just an accident :)
have a wonderful thursday!

I love this post...for the obvious reason that my niece is ADORABLE, but also for the ways that God shows us his provision. There is NOTHING too small for us to pray for and that we just have to have the faith that he deserves. I truely believet that "Jesus fixed it" too. Love you guys!!!!
