goin' green

first of all, warning...really bad quality pictures in this post...they are from my phone!

for those of you who know my child well, you already know that her favorite color is green.

for those of you who don't know my child well, or at all, her favorite color is green.

GREEN, people!! what 3 year old girl LOVES green? i mean, hannah is obsessed with the color! if you give her a choice of something, if green is an option, that's what she will pick, no matter what the subject choice is. it's the strangest thing to me, but i do kinda love it! i love that's it's different!

the other night after dinner, i gave hannah a small handful of dark chocolate m&m's. she loves them, and that is a normal "dessert" for her after meals. i put the small handful in a small bowl, and immediately was in trouble with her because there were no green ones! how dare i give her m&m's, but no green ones! :)

you know how sometimes in stores there are the m&m characters that have bags of m&m's in them? well, IGA just happens to have a green one:

and she HAD to have her picture taken with it! she is too funny!

well, i am going to have so much fun with st. patrick's day this year, and probably go way overboard with the green stuff! and i probably shouldn't admit this, but cody always jokes that the reason hannah loves green so much is because st. patrick's day 2007 i drank more green beer than i should have, and we found out a week later i was pregnant with hannah! don't judge :)

here is what i have already ordered for hannah just for st. patrick's day:

yes, that is a 64 count of ALL GREEN crayons! i am so excited to give this to her, i am not sure i will make it until st patrick's day! she will go CRAZY over this! and the shades have fun names like shamrock, jungle green, sheen green, and screamin' green! you need to definitely check out crayola.com and create your own custom box! so much fun! and i ordered her a jumbo tangled coloring book, which right now, tangled is her second obsession! :)

ok, so i haven't updated on my goals in a while. i have not done great with the weight loss or running AT ALL, but i was informed yesterday that i am running a 5k in april, as part of a relay team, which means i can't let anyone down! i am not at all prepared for a race that soon, but am determined to do it, so the training re-started last night! i am really excited about this, though, because i keep telling myself how good i will feel when i complete the first one, and then the second one in may. i am doing this!
