countdown to 30

i turn 30 in 9 weeks. 9 WEEKS PEOPLE!! i really was okay with it until just very recently. now i'm not so sure. i am seeing WAY more wrinkles than, in my opinion, i should have. also, my weight just doesn't drop off like it always has before when i had some to lose. i do have a goal to meet by july 9...lose 11 pounds. i know that doesn't sound like a lot, but for me, it kinda is. the first 6 will be fairly easy. but that's where it usually stops dropping and no matter what i do, never goes any lower. i have lost 6 pounds already, but have gotten slightly lazy already. and, really, it's taken way longer than it should have to lose those first 6. so, i am putting my goal in writing so hopefully i won't go back on my word. i guess we'll see.

yesterday when i posted about hannah not sleeping, i was almost at my wit's end at what to do about her. i guess the venting did something good...she went to sleep with no fight last night! and when she got up at 1:30 this morning to pee, she walked back to her bed and got back in it by herself and went back to sleep! yay for hannah! and yay for mommy because i didn't have to have a huge fight with her at 1:30 in the morning! cody never even knew we got out of bed, that's how smoothly it went:)

last night we went driving around the newcastle area looking at land. cody wants to move us to the "country" so badly he can hardly stand it. i have to admit, i would kind of like the room for hannah to grow up on, but there is a part of me that will always be a city girl. i have lived in norman my whole life, where nothing is more than 5 minutes away. it will be a HUGE change for me, but i think i am slowly getting used to the idea. we already have the house picked out that we want to build, but finding the land for a decent price has been quite the challenge. i guess when it's time, we will find the perfect place. if they at least have pizza delivery, i guess i'm ok:)

my parents went to eufaula today to clean up the boat and get the sea doos to the dock. i am so excited for lake time! we go at least once a week, and hannah loves it! i really do hate to get IN the water, but i love to be ON it! may be part of the reason i have wrinkles!! :)
