bored

i have decided i don't know why i have a blog...i am horrible at it!! and i never really have anything interesting to say, but it does make me feel good to get it off my chest when i do i guess.

i am trying to read through my bible this year. and, i am in my 3rd week of not missing a day yet. i really am enjoying the quiet time in the mornings, time just me and God. but, this week i have been in the end of exodus and the beginning of leviticus, and i am so bored. it's all about burnt offerings, absolution offering, whole grain offerings, etc, etc, blah, blah...  i am trying not to be so bored with it, but i am. hopefully i am moving on to something else soon.

hannah started a new morning routine this week, and i am a little taken back by it. when i get her out of her crib, she wants to sit in her rocking chair in her room and watch her cartoons on her tv. usually she goes in the living room and watches cartoons and eats her breakfast there. i can see her there, while i make my lunch and get stuff ready to leave. it's so strange that she is growing up so quickly, and becoming such an independent big girl. i don't know if this makes me happy or sad!

my youngest brother, who i think is amazing, is a senior this year. he turns 18 next month, and i am so proud of the man he has become. tomorrow night i am going to duncan to watch a film that he has entered in a film festival there! how cool is that! he has such talent in so many different areas!

my running is kicking my butt for some reason. i was doing about 2 miles before the blizzard hit, and i started back up last week. so i was off for about 3 weeks from running, mostly because of the blizzard and hannah being sick for 10 straight days, and then some because i was just lazy:) i am having a hard time even finishing a mile now. i have no idea what the deal is, but it sucks! i am thinking about signing up for the OKC Memorial 5K run, but right now, i doubt i would make it! i do at least have time to get back in shape though.

i have lots of funny pictures of hannah to share from christmas and some other random ones, i just need to get them all off my camera! maybe this weekend i will get to that.
