busy, busy!!

gosh, we've been so busy lately i don't even know where to start! we have been enjoying the beautiful fall weather and the upcoming holidays!

a couple of weeks ago we took hannah to orr family farm for the first time, and she LOVED it! and really, cody and i loved it too! there was so much to do! of course, you put hannah outside, and she's happy, no matter where we are or what we are doing! but add a few animals, and a carousel and she's in heaven!

hannah started gymnastics about a month ago, and it is going great! we decided to pull her out of her ballet class and do gymnastics instead, because we didn't feel like she was being challenged enough. she is so busy and just wants to go, go, go all the time, we thought gymnastics would be better for her. she loves it and really is doing fantastic! she has great coordination, and once we get her to slow down a little and pay attention, she does almost everything without any help!
wednesday night she got to wear her halloween costume to gymnastics, and thought that was super fun! she is abby cadabby this year, and is the cutest fairy every! she loves the "puffs" that she gets to wear in her hair!

hannah and daddy carved a pumpkin for the first time ever last night! cody made the mistake of letting hannah pick what design she wanted out of the book of choices, and of course she chose one of the hardest ones! she wanted the castle, because she's daddy's princess.

her interest in carving it didn't last long though. she got bored quickly, so we went to take a bath, and when we got out, it looked like this:

daddy did good! i would have lost my patience and never finished!! :)

hannah has been at a new day care since august, and it has been one of the best moves we have made. i struggled with moving her for a long time, but eventually decided it was what she needed. there are LOTS more kids at the new one, and she has tons of new friends. she is absolutely thriving there, and can't wait to go back in the mornings. it's one of the best feelings knowing that a tough decision i made as a parent was a great one!

i just finished another bible study book called Let Prayer Change Your Life by Becky Tiribessi, and it was incredible! it is definitely changing my heart, but more importantly it is letting me have a closer relationship with God, and a better prayer time. it changed the way i have my quiet time in the mornings, and believe it or not, i actually look forward to my 5 am alarm! never in my life did i think that was possible! :)

have a great weekend! happy halloween!
